Environmental policy

A sense of responsibility is second nature

Handling our resources and the environment as carefully as possible is central to our environmental policy, not least because we feel a close commitment to our employees and the people of the region, to the attractive countryside of the High Rhine and future generations.

We put this sense of duty into practice by constantly putting our AWW’s environmental policy to the test and improving and adapting it to new developments. Handling raw materials economically, strict adherence to statutory regulations, co-operation with the authorities on matters affecting environmental protection or independent environmentally-aware action on the part of all employees are only some of the examples of how we contribute to a future worth living.

In addition, innovations and investments at AWW are planned in such a way that damage to the environment is reduced as far as possible through the best technologies available. Last but not least, our regular audits and a certified environmental management system ensure the success of our environmental protection.

Responsibility at AWW also means offering young people long-term and attractive career opportunities: traditionally each year we offer a new generation of trainees apprenticeships in our workshop.

The fact that we have extremely motivated and qualified employees in Wutöschingen is probably also the result of these high standards. And they remain loyal to us for an above-average period of time.
